Formalin Test Machine is a laboratory system for recording and detecting acute and chronic pain in laboratory animals.
In this machine the animal is placed in a container. there’s a mirror with 45 degree angle under the container and animal’s foot can be seen. The animal after injecting moves with different rhythms based on the experienced pain. With recording animal’s foot state pain volume can be detected.
